About me
I was born and raised in Saxony, that’s why our Free State has always been home for me. After finishing my vocational training to become a chef in Dresden I packed my belongings and went to work in different locations. I had jobs on the island Föhr, in Birgels in Switzerland, in Villeneuve l’Archevêque in France. While working I learned French and Norwegian and got to know different cultures and styles of living. My military service took me to the Baltic Sea – I served a ship’s cook in the Second Speedboat Squadron in Rostock-Warnemünde. We crossed the Baltic Sea and harboured besides other places in Copenhagen, Giel, Århus, Gothenborg and in Karlskrona.
I joined the Junge Union Saxony and Lower Silesia and the CDU in 2003. Since 2006 I have been the party head in Priestewitz.
After I was nominated to be a Member of the Saxon Parliament I campaigned successfully and was elected in August 2009 by the voters in the district and town of Großenhain.
I work in to parliamentary committees
1. Board of Environment and Agriculture and
2. Board for Welfare and Consumerism.
My parliamentary group appointed me spokesman for Consumerism and for Wine.
Being a self employed person I believe in the principle of demanding and promoting and I am proud of Saxony and Germany. Therefore the CDU and the Junge Union are my poliitcal home. I put forward my personal political believes in the parliamentary debates and I am convinced, that we will design our own good future with courage, force and endurance.
For this I need your help too: Tell me, write to me when there is something amiss. I will see what I can do about it. I’m looking forward to our dialogue. Thank you!
